Performing Arts Studio Georgetown

Fall Registration Is Still Open! It is not too late to register for fall classes.

Performing Arts Studio is a dance studio in Georgetown, Texas, focused on helping students of all ages achieve their limitless potential through performing arts training in ballet, jazz/turns&leaps, modern, tap, lyrical, and hip hop. We are also home to the award-winning Infinity Dance Company.


REGISTRATION

The Registration Fee is $50/student and $60/family (for 2 more students) and is due upon enrollment. Last month tuition is due at time of registration.


TUITION

Tuition is paid monthly and remains the same regardless of how many classes there are in a month.

Sibling discount is $10 discount/month for each additional family member.

First class/hour is $65. Additional classes/hours are $40 per class.

Unlimited Classes per week is $230 a month.

30 minutes:  $54 / month

.75-1 hour:  $65 / month

1 .25-1.5 hour:  $85 / month

1.75-2 hours:  $105 / month

2.25-2.5 hours:  $125 / month

2.75-3 hour:  $145 / month

3.35-3.5 hours:  $165 / month

3.75-4 hours:  $185 / month

4.25-4.75 hours:  $205 / month

Unlimited:  $230 / month

PAYMENT POLICIES

Payments:

Tuition is paid monthly and is due by the 1st of each month.

After the 10th of the month, a $25 late fee is incurred.

Returned Check Fee is $25.

 

Spring recital costumes:

Costume Payment is due on November 1st and is non-refundable. 2018-2019 costs of costumes vary depending on the age and class of dancer:

Creative Movement, Pre-school, and Combo classes: $65

Ballet and Contemporary 4, 5, 6: $80

All other classes: $70

All Hip Hop Classes will incur an additional cost for shoes:  $115

 

Spring recital fee:

The recital fee is $65 per family and is due on March 1st. This fee helps pay for costs associated with staging the recital (auditorium rental, stage crew, props, sets, etc). The recital fee includes 2 tickets per family to the show your dancer/dancers is in.  If your dancer/dancers is in 2 shows you will receive 2 tickets per family to each show.  All tickets are to be purchased on line through a ticketing company.

 

Dropped enrollment:

PAS must receive written notification via email before the 1st of the month to release you of your financial obligation to PAS. 

If a drop occurs after the first of the month, you will be required to pay that month’s tuition.

Please note that we are UNABLE TO REFUND REGISTRATION FEES, COSTUME PAYMENTS AND TUITION.


DRESS CODE

For all of our students' safety and educational experience, our dress code is strictly enforced. The dress code is extremely important, as it is essential so teachers can see proper body alignment and placement (this is especially important for all ballet classes).

• Hair must be pulled back and out of face.

• No jewelry of any kind. (stud earring are okay)

• Please wear a cover-up to and from PAS

• Please do not wear dance shoes outside PAS

• Please label all shoes, ballet skirts, bags, etc.

Creative Movement—Black or Pink Leotard any style, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair pulled back out of face.

Pre-school, Combo I, Combo II—Black or Pink Leotard any style, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes need either elastic or tap ties to avoid having to stop class and tie shoes, hair pulled back out of face.

Acro-Leotard any style and color, booty shorts, or leggings can be worn, bare feet, hair pulled back out of face.  No baggy clothes or cover ups during class.

Ballet –Black Leotard any style, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and hair must be in a bun in middle of head (not to side). No ballet skirt or booty shorts

Jazz/Turns and Leaps—Leotard any style and color, booty shorts, or leggings can be worn, slip on jazz shoes black or tan, hair pulled back out of face.  No baggy clothes or cover ups during class.

Contemporary and Lyrical –Leotard any style and color, booty shorts, or leggings can be worn, slip on jazz shoes black or tan, hair pulled back out of face.  No baggy clothes or coverups during class.

Tap—Leotard any style and color, booty shorts, or leggings can be worn, black tap shoes, hair pulled back out of face.  No baggy clothes or cover ups during class.

Hip Hop—Anything you can move in (no jeans), sneakers or combat boots.

Boys—T-shirt, black pants or shorts (not too baggy), black ballet shoes, black jazz shoes, black tap shoes
