The Performing Arts Studio is locally owned and operated, offering the following curriculum with special emphasis on performance and showmanship.. Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, HipHop, Baton Twirling, Voice, Hot Notes – Showchoir, Kid's Acting, Adult Classes, Boy’s Classes, Dance Team, Competitive Dance Troupe. Meet our Director!

Lisa Holmstrom grew up in a musical family as the daughter of “Big Band Leader,” Don Reid and vocalist Gwen Reid. Lisa has years of dance, vocal, and performing experience. She began her training at the age of 2 in Memphis, Tennessee, where she studied under Burney Lyons and Otis Smith. Her education is ongoing and constant. In order to keep techniques polished and “stay ahead” of the ever-changing world of dance. Lisa studies every year with such greats as Joe Tremaine, Jerry Rose, Thommie Walsh, Al Gilbert, Darrell Retter, Janice Barringer, David Howard, Bill DeRico, Charlie McGowan, Michael Rooney, Kenneth Green, and many other professional dancers. Lisa is a graduate of Memphis State University which she attended on a four year twirling scholarship. She was a member of the MSU twirlers and the World Champion MSU PomPom Girls. She was active in pageants in Memphis and was a finalist in the Miss Tennessee Pageant. She has worked with the Miss Georgetown Pageant as a choreographer and consultant. Lisa also worked as a choreographer on the following shows for Austin's Zachary Scott Theatre: High School Musical (Austin Circle of Theatres choreography award nomination) , Hair, Ain't Misbehavin (B. Iden Payne choreography award nomination), Jelly's Last Jam,Love! Valour! Compassion! and Ruthless the Musical. She has performed for Zachary Scott as one of the “Beehive Girls” in the Rockin’ Christmas Party at the Paramount Theater in Austin. In addition to dance, Lisa is a professional singer, songwriter, and music teacher. She is active in her church and serves the community as a volunteer for community events. She taught music to grades Pre-K through 8th at Zion Lutheran School in Walburg. She was chosen as an Outstanding Young Woman of America and is very proud of her National Champion Dance Troupe. Most of all she loves working with children and is inspired by their growth and development.
